Senator Marshall Applauds Boeing’s $1 Billion Investment in Wichita

Wichita – On Monday, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), joined Boeing CEO, Kelly Ortberg, at a “Boeing Backs America” event in Wichita, announcing $1 billion in investments into Wichita over the next 3 years.

“Kansas is proud to be the Air Capital of the World, and this announcement by Boeing reaffirms Wichita’s place in the future of American aerospace,” said Senator Marshall. “This decision highlights Boeing’s long-term commitment to Kansas and will drive new jobs, innovation, and manufacturing growth across our state. We look forward to strengthening this partnership for years to come.”

This announcement comes after Boeing announced a partnership with Wichita State University Tech last week to create a new workforce training center in South Wichita, providing an important educational pipeline in Kansas for future Boeing employees.
