Senator Marshall Applauds Passage of NDAA
Washington – On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), praised the passage of the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), legislation that strengthens America’s military while delivering critical investments for Kansas servicemembers and military communities.
The NDAA includes major upgrades at Fort Riley, including construction of a new Air Traffic Control tower and a modern infantry training course. This bill also delivers a well-deserved pay raise for servicemembers, supporting military families and reinforcing strong recruitment and readiness across the force.
“The first responsibility of Congress is to keep America safe,” said Senator Marshall. “This NDAA strengthens our military, invests millions right here in Kansas, and ensures our servicemembers have the tools, training, and support they need to defend our nation.”
