Senator Marshall Applauds Trump Admin for Returning Education to the States
Washington – On Tuesday, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), released the following statement praising the Trump Administration’s most recent effort to eliminate unnecessary federal education bureaucracy and return education funds where they are most beneficial – the states.
“I applaud Secretary McMahon for her efforts to fulfill President Trump’s promise to return education to the states. Education is the great equalizer – but unfortunately, the status quo is not working and outcomes for our children are slipping,” said Senator Marshall. “Moving certain programs to agencies better aligned with their mission will help them finally deliver real results and better serve students in Kansas.”
