Senator Marshall: The Democrat Party is Lost
Senator Marshall Joins Fox Business to Discuss the Schumer shutdown

On President Trump’s accomplishments within his first nine months:
“Well, Liz, we’re on Trump time now. Just amazing to go through each one of those agencies to see what indeed they’ve done. I mean, the announcement on Gaza today alone literally trumps anything that Joe Biden did in his four years. The border is obviously secure. The price of gas and groceries is coming down. Regulations are being rolled back, the biggest tax cut in history. I think of all those things, our families feel safer. That’s probably the most important thing to me. Our families are safer. My children, my grandchildren, are safer. Americans are safer today.”
On Democrat claims that it is not a clean CR:
“Well, Liz, if I was Nancy Pelosi’s family, I’d probably say, Grandma, I think maybe your times are over. She reminds me of a coach maybe, that stuck around a little bit too long. She’s really struggling now, and she was a very, very powerful politician up here. The only reason she sticks around is because they don’t have a leader in the Democrat Party right now, and she’s hanging on for dear life. Hakeem Jeffries, just frankly, isn’t providing much leadership over there, so she’s sticking around trying to prop him up as well. But I think this is one more example of a lost Democrat Party and doesn’t know where they’re going right now. This is a clean CR to your point, just last December, every Democrat voted for this up here. There’s Nancy Pelosi; she’s probably voted for 100 CRs easily this century alone. Doesn’t include the last decades either.”
