Highlights from Senator Marshall’s remarks include:

“Whether we receive the impeachment articles on Secretary Mayorkas tomorrow or next week, the Democrat leader of the Senate still plans on halting the process to stop an impeachment trial.”

“Make no mistake about it, a vote to block the impeachment trial of Secretary Mayorkas is a vote to keep our borders open. A vote to block the impeachment trial is a vote to tell Laken Riley’s family that we don’t care. It’s a vote that tells 250,000 Americans who’ve lost a loved one to fentanyl poisoning, that we don’t care.”

“I think it’s significant that it would only take two Democrats to deny tabling this process in order to proceed with an impeachment trial. But we certainly don’t think that’s going to be the case. Why? Because this issue is so toxic to Senate Democrats to House Democrats and to Joe Biden that they do not want this to be the issue of the day. But my hope is that the good people in Montana and Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania that they hold their senators accountable this November.”
