Senator Marshall Statement on Olathe Marine Killed in Helicopter Crash

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. released the following statement following the news of a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter crash in California that claimed the life of U.S. Marine Lance Corporal, Donovan Davis of Olathe, KS. Today, the Marine Corps released the names of the five young marines killed in the crash on Tuesday.

“The loss of Lance Corporal Davis and his fellow marines is devastating news,” Senator Marshall said. “These courageous young men committed their lives to serving our country and were taken too soon. May they rest in peace, and may God bless their friends and families during this unimaginable time. We will never forget their service and sacrifice for our great nation.”
