ICYMI: Kansas Delegation Launches “One Pill Can Kill” Video PSA

Washington, D.C. – On Monday, Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, the Kansas federal congressional delegation, alongside more than 100 Kansas organizations, launched a statewide week-long #OnePillCanKill awareness campaign to fight the fentanyl crisis head-on. The Kansas federal delegation released a “One Pill Can Kill” video to kick off the awareness campaign.

The #OnePillCanKill awareness campaign sheds light on the gravity of the issue and emphasizes the importance of educating parents and children. To grasp the seriousness of this crisis that has claimed the lives of more than 1,200 Kansans and is the number one cause of death in young adults, we must discuss the nature of fentanyl, where it’s being sold, how it’s distributed, its deceptiveness, and the concerted efforts required to combat it. By equipping our communities with knowledge about the dangers of fentanyl, Kansans become better defenders against this lethal drug poisoning our communities.
